Morning Exploration

Board a small boat at Puerto Villamil pier for a scenic navigation across the bay. Spot Galapagos penguins perched on volcanic rocks and blue-footed boobies plunge-diving. Disembark on the jagged basalt islet of Tintoreras for an interpretive guided walk.

Afternoon & Activities

Peer directly into the famous volcanic fissure where dozens of white-tip reef sharks (tintoreras) rest peacefully in crystal-clear water. Observe the largest marine iguana colony in Isabela. Gear up for fantastic snorkeling in a sheltered turquoise bay with curious sea lion pups, Pacific green turtles, and colorful rays.
