Depart Puerto Villamil harbor by boat navigating 45 minutes southwest along Isabela’s dramatic volcanic coastline to Cabo Rosa. Enter an otherworldly marine labyrinth where ancient lava flows collapsed into the Pacific Ocean, forming a maze of natural stone bridges, arches, and tranquil emerald-turquoise lagoons.
Guided walk over fragile lava bridges where blue-footed boobies nest and nurture chicks. Slip into the crystal-clear water for world-renowned snorkeling: swim through submerged volcanic tunnels alongside Pacific green sea turtles, docile white-tip reef sharks (tintoreras), golden cownose rays, and seahorses.
Daily routing may be adjusted by the Galapagos National Park authority or vessel captain according to weather and sea conditions.
